I'm James, the founder of House of Hats. I've always believed a hat says more
about a man's style than almost anything else he wears it's the one piece
that turns an outfit into a statement.
But somewhere along the way, Britain forgot that. The flat cap, the trilby,
the bowler pieces that once defined how British men dressed quietly disappeared from everyday wardrobes, pushed aside as "too formal" or "old-fashioned."
I didn't think that was fair. A great hat isn't a costume. It's confidence, character, and a bit of quiet elegance and it still belongs in a modern man's wardrobe.
